Die besten Restaurants mit Comfort Food in Dover

We consider Puddledock one of Portsmouth’s top-tier restaurants and that it doesn’t often get the credit it deserves. The menu is both inventive and accessible, the ambience perhaps the best in the city.

Excellent meal, drinks, and service. Oxtail entree was a highlight.

Oysters Rockefeller opener was very tasty. Had pork chop special. It was cooked perfectly. Special cheesecake for dessert was top-notch. Our server, Tyler, couldn't have been nicer and very accommodating. This place is always busy, so it says alot about how they treat customers. Several staff members thanked us for coming on way out. Always friendly. Great experience. Highly recommended if you've not been. Their menu is one page, so not a big selection. But, they prepare it all perfectly and specials are usually my first choice.

My group had arancini and meatballs to start and then we had the sausage & fig pizza, the salmon and the chicken parm. We each an Italian margarita. The food drinks and service were awesome! I can’t wait to go again.

There were not enought wait staff to handle the amount of people. I know that since there was no one at the front desk, some folks turned and left...this was 19Feb24. Around 1pm .....
