We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Close to The Grand Opera House and city centre, Plonkers is an ideal place to meet with friends or colleagues for a relaxed drink.Weekends at Plonkers can have a party atmosphere where you can relax after work with friends. Upstairs seats approximately 26 but we can cater for buffets for around 40 people with some standing. Best afternoon tea in York you get an all round mix of savory and sweet plus they refill your tea and will refill you sandwiches which is a nice touch. Service impeccable as always

Had great meal for a friends Birthday. Food was really good. Great atmosphere and decor. Staff were very attentive and professional. Will definitely be back. I’ve already recommended to a couple of friends.

This was a belated Christmas treat with friends and we had a lovely time. We thought the view from the table was outstanding and the food was plentiful and tasty.
