Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant. Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too. Booked a table at Las Lounge for Easter dinner; my guest and I already love the place for the beautiful ambience, extremely good service and very good shisha. They have recently brought a new Lebanese menu so we decided to give it a try, UNBELIEVABLE!! We were left with no words as we couldn’t put down our forks, everything was 10/10! Lamb juicy and tender, portion are extremely generous, we had a complimentary salad that slapped and the star of the show was the Mac & cheese!!!!! Freshly prepared to order it was soooooo good that even the cold leftover were delicious!!! Prices are amazing considering the big portions and the 2for1 offer on cocktails makes it even more worth it!! Las Lounge is a new gem!!!
