Das El Catrin Destileria öffnete im Sommer 2014 im Viertel Distillery seine Türen. Neben einem beeindruckenden Hand bemalten 20'x60' Wandbild und einer der besten Terrassen und Cocktail-Listen in der Stadt bietet dieses authentische mexikanische Lokal eine lebhafte Atmosphäre und amüsante Mitarbeiter. Restaurant was recommended by a friend as outstanding! Well… not outstanding in my books but still a solid meal with good quality drinks in a cool location! Restaurant was packed and noisy. Service was very good (but not outstanding). I think this restaurant would likely be awesome during the summer season with their extensive outside patio area. The Distillery District is definitely worth a visit while you’re in Toronto!

I was seated at 6:15. and no one came to offer me drinks(including water) until 6:40 pm. Coincidentally when my guest arrived. So I wasn't happy about that Food was ok. Ceviche was good (Shrimp and Scallop). The Birria tacos I got were extremely salty. So it was hard to finish the meal.
