Das El Catrin Destileria öffnete im Sommer 2014 im Viertel Distillery seine Türen. Neben einem beeindruckenden Hand bemalten 20'x60' Wandbild und einer der besten Terrassen und Cocktail-Listen in der Stadt bietet dieses authentische mexikanische Lokal eine lebhafte Atmosphäre und amüsante Mitarbeiter. Der Chefkoch Le Calvez, der von Mexiko-Stadt hergezogen ist, zeigt Ihnen gerne Torontonians, die frischen Aromen, die in seiner Heimat berühmte Kochzutaten sind.

Our server was Victoria and she was absolutely fantastic- we will ask for her when we go back, which we definitely will, she made us feel so at home and table service was fast and friendly. The front desk was a bit messy - originally they had us just sit and wait for our table, but then when they sent others right in and we went back and asked again, they took us straight to a table. Baja fish tacos were fantastic, but so was everything. Loved the margaritas and the sangria as well.

El Catrin never disappoints. The food was excellent. The service was exceptional. We had a group of seven for a holiday celebration with colleagues and they were very patient with us as we chatted and took a bit longer to order. The guacamole is so delicious! And the flight of margaritas was excellent. I shared with a friend. I had the blood orange and hibiscus which were so good. My friend found them a bit sweet. Thank you!
