Cicchetti is traditionally a selection of snacks served with drinks in Venice. Now served in city bars all over Italy, true Italian tapas, simple, fresh small plates to share or eat alone. Sit back and relax as our team proudly present a celebration of seasonal ingredients and flavours in our recently renovated premises. From starters to desserts, every dish has been carefully crafted to showcase excellent local produce.

We’re a family-friendly restaurant with children’s menus available.

Since opening in 2020, we’ve become a favourite to locals and visitors alike - recently claiming a place in OpenTable's UK Top 100 Restaurants for 2023 and winning Best Restaurant in the 2023 Radio Forth Awards.

Our restaurant is open for breakfast seven days a week, and open Thursday to Sunday for lunch and dinner (last seating at 5pm on Sunday). Booking is essential.

We are a multiple award winning restaurant, first opening our doors in Edinburgh in 2009.

Whether it’s the blast of warmth that welcomes you as you step off the plane, the guitarist in that bustling side street bar you chanced upon or the very last meal of your trip, we wanted to create an atmosphere in Tapa that was evocative of our most vibrant memories of Spain!

From Michelin starred restaurants in Madrid to roadside cafes in Sanlúcar de Barrameda we celebrate the incredibly diverse range of ingredients and stunning dishes that we’ve experienced on our travels through Spain by placing an emphasis on small, artisanal Spanish producers and ingredients almost impossible to source out with Spain.
