   We had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday. Our waitress Ilana was amazing and we loved sitting in her section. Both of our meals were very tasty as well. I enjoyed my salmon and opted for the sauce on the side. I actually enjoyed it plain and didn’t need the sauce. My husband had fettuccine with lobster & shrimp. He enjoyed his fish as well. We will definitely come back!!

   How would you explain ordering salmon with sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes all of which was topped with gravy? The asparagus was mashed down in the potatoes. I never have had that done before. Service was poor; however, the ambiance was nice. That does not alleviate gravy on salmon or the asparagus. Too bad. Maybe stick to the Italian dishes if you do go there.

   Everything was fabulous. We shared a beet salad and I had veal marsala. The portions are huge.

   Very disappointed after years of satisfying experiences here. The food was mediocre at best, extremely limited lunch menu and only option was to order off expensive dinner/regular menu, and the service was very slow and inattentive. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and then flag her down when we wanted to order. She never checked back except to bring the bill. Won't go back; other better choices.

I am sorry to hear that you will not be returning. We do have 2 options for lunch; the regular menu, as well as our features. I am sorry this was not fulfilling. I do hope you give us another chance.    We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening actually April 11. We sat at the bar initially because we were half hour early. We ordered an old-fashioned, whiskey, sour and a beer. The old-fashioned and whiskey sour actually weren’t mixed very well if mixed at all a bit sloppy on the bartending. Not impressed. We reserved a table for 7:15 PM. We were promptly seated. Our waiter was a bit slow. I don’t think it was his best night. He seemed to have sort of a wise crack, demeanor, kind of like he was tolerating us. We were seated at a four top table, which was half booth half chairs right smack in the middle between the kitchen and the doorway so every order that came out for every server or host staff or kitchen staff literally walked right by our table. Food came out eventually it was good not enough garlic, and the broccoli rabe. We ordered an Italian garden salad, which was $12. You could’ve crumpled it into your hand in terms of volume. Veal chop was awesome. Scallops are good. My chicken Parm was not too shabby. Food was tasty. Service was mediocre. Ambience was loud and under par for such a highly regarded restaurant. Actually the highlight of the evening was dessert.

    Outstanding shrimp & lobster Fra Diablo! Bolognese was very good plenty of meat sauce. Chicken Alfredo was excellent too.
