As soon as Amy Chanta flung open the doors in 1989 Chat Thai became an instant smash hit with Sydney diners already familiar with Thailand and no appetite for compromising on ingredients, flavours, textures and aromas. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. The food was delicious but the serving size of some of the dishes could have been bigger. We ordered the crispy pork but there wasn't many pieces of pork. The ambience of the place is really nice and good for groups.

Great place to go, especially if you have a play to catch at the Opera House. Conveniently situated by the trains and Light rail. Food was really tasty, staff very attentive, and the restaurant very busy, it is best to book. We will definitely return there.

Food is consistently delicious here. They really need to replace there chairs they are in a very dilapidated state and it is quite off putting.
