Eine authentische Raleigh-Erfahrung! Als das Irregardless 1975 eröffnet wurde, war es bekannt als ein Ort für Hippies und Vegetarier. In den 80er Jahren war es das erste Restaurant in NC, in dem Rauchen verboten war. Heute ist das Cafe der am längsten vom ursprünglichen Eigentümer geführte Gastronomiebetrieb in Raleigh. Es hat sich viel im Laufe der Jahre verändert, aber die Kernwerte sind dieselben geblieben. Für die preisgekrönten, selbst zubereiteten Mahlzeiten werden ausschließlich biologische Zutaten der Region verwendet. Das Irregardless ist ein Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse mit einer lockeren Atmosphäre. Es bietet frische Meeresfrüchte, Fleischgerichte, vegetarische und vegane Speisen sowie glutenfreie Menüs - immer zubereitet unter Berücksichtigung von Umweltbelangen. Wir haben auch einzigartige Weine und handwerklich gebraute Biere sowie Espressi, Cappuccini und 25 lose Tees auf der Karte. Jeden Abend wird Livemusik gespielt. Unsere zahlreichen, verschiedenartigen Musiker spielen alles, von Jazz bis Bluegrass. Diese Gruppen sind auf unserer Website aufgeführt. Am Samstagabend zum Tanzen spielen größere Gruppen. I had the Fish soup. It was okay. I’ve had better food there. Hot tea was warm at best. It’s always a beautiful place to eat. The menu has good options for lots of diets. We’ll go back, but not for the fish soup.

As always, the service that staff provide is above and beyond. I love to bring colleagues from abroad to experience this high quality, upscale spin on southern food. It really sets a high bar! Of course, we came in like a storm and too many people followed us from the office, and the staff (especially Olivia W) handled it with grace, kindness, and humor. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The presentation of the plates, the quality of ingredients, and the environment just make for an overall wonderful experience. I cannot recommend enough!

The atmosphere was "rustic" which I loved. Service was well paced, did not feel rushed to make a decision. Tracey, our server was awesome. She explained the menu and specials to us. Loved the fact that the chef came to our table to ask about our meal. The quality of the food was superb. The fried lobster was great. Next time I come South, Vinnie's will be my place to go.
