Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history. The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. The Prince of Bengal is a very decent curry house but it needs to decide if it wants to be a restaurant or a take-away / delivery place. The food was good but the service was so slow. I would have been served much quicker if I'd come in for a take away. Not good enough on this occasion
