Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know. It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. Fresh flowers complete the handsome decor. In addition to their extensive menu you can select from the creative specials like Grilled Filet of Halibut with Prince Edward Island Mussels on a citrus rosemary butternut squash risotto.

My best friends Birthday so he wanted Italian and chose Butera's. We were not disappointed sever was very nice and the Owner Chef came by to introduce himself and explained his history and menu, you could see the pride in how he spoke and held himself. We started out with the baked clams and they were an instant hit so moist and tender not chewy at all. We both had the Sunday Gravy and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken meatball pot and they were so tender and melted in your mouth. We are looking forward to going back soon. David H.

I have been a fan for years and last week's visit was no different. Great Food, amazing server and reasonably priced for the amazing food value. Seafood Salad and pasta with steak just amazing. I shall return as usual. John

I have been here many times. This time i was underwhelmed. My glassware was dirty. Food order took a long time and food was good but not as good as in the past
