Von ihr hat er als Kind das Kochen gelernt. Im Gertrude's erwartet Sie zum Mittag- und Abendessen sowie zum Brunch eine raffinierte Speisekarte mit regionalen Gerichten aus Chesapeake. Soweit möglich werden Biozutaten aus der Region verwendet. Das schöne und elegante Interieur des komfortablen Restaurants wurde durch das Leben am Ostufer der Chesapeake Bay inspiriert. Der offene und geräumige Speisesaal ist lichtdurchflutet, da sich an einer Wand raumhohe Fenster befinden, durch die Sie auf den Skulpturengarten des Museums blicken.     The most elegant restaurant in town. Pianist plays light jazz all night adding to the relaxing ambiance. Food superb particularly the namesake prime rib. Service exquisite. A bit pricey but worth it. Been our special restaurant for 50 years.
