Built in 1839 on an old archery range, this pub quickly became a cherished neighbourhood meeting spot and was frequented by notable locals throughout its history, from Winston Churchill to Tony Blair.To honour the historical roots of the establishment, offer our take on the quintessential British gastro pub. We aim to be London's only gastro pub sourcing all of our ingredients from the British Isles, and where that is not possible, we look to source ingredients from countries and territories with close links to Britain, such as our lemons from Gibraltar.
