We are a family run pub located in the village of Woodlesford just 6 miles south-east of Leeds city centre and is a stop off and refreshment point on the central section of the trans Pennine trail. Welcoming walkers and locals alike. We are also dog friendly. Newley refurbished the pub still retains its charm and character and the first thing you will notice when you arrive is a warm and family friendly atmosphere and our staff are only to happy to serve you. First of all a BIG THANK YOU to Viv and her team of staff for always make me feel very welcome into the pub. O Today for Sunday lunch being vegetarian I had the mushroom & tarragon pudding with fresh seasonal vegetables and fluffy crisp roast potatoes and gravy. The Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection and very filling I had no room for a pudding. I would highly recommend a visit for food and drinks.

There were four of us and we had booked a table even though the pub wasn’t that busy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food arrived in a timely manner and portions were large. My husband and I did not enjoy our food, the beef patty of the hamburger had a smell that wasn’t very pleasant. The onion rings were delicious but heavy. Our adult kids though loved their lasagna and fish& chips. The hummus starter was a7/10. We all loved their lasagna music playing!!
