A pre Christmas catch up with friends at the Travellers did not disappoint. The pub was warm & welcoming with fantastic service and we enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast - the portions were so big we couldn’t fit in dessert (this time !) Would definitely recommend & will be back soon

Great service and food. Staff were extremely thoughtful as they had a supper with Santa that we did not know about, my daughter was very scared of Santa as she is only 2, so the safe moved us to an area that wouldn’t mean her seeing him. All the other kids loved Santa.

Would definatley. Recommend this “For the quality and portions, the prices were reasonable. It’s a great spot for a meal that doesn’t break the bank.” To Sum it up “Whether you’re after a hearty meal or a casual drink with friends, The Royal delivers on all fronts. It’s a gem worth revisiting.”

Quick service and overall the food was excellent but could have done with some more meat on the main meal

Lovely Sunday lunch, fresh vegetables, tasty roast beef which was very tender. Great that the landlord came over to each table and took the order and checked everything ok, a great personal touch.
