Such a lovely evening at The Axe & Compasses. They’ve renovated it superbly & it has a great atmosphere, gorgeous furnishings, fab food & Staff. A wonderful birthday meal, thanks!

Very quiet at The Buck, to be expected so soon after Christmas. Really perfect time to catch up with an old friend. Great service from our waitress and fabulous food. It was very nice to be able to park easily in the car park, it's usually rammed which says a lot for how popular a place it is.

As usual the food, service & atmosphere was brilliant, as was our Christmas dinner (for 11 people). Really would recommend The Hole in the Wall. We’ve never been disappointed

Eating out can be challenging as one of us is coeliac, but here we got both fab food and felt listened to and looked after re coeliac concerns. BTW best roast beef I’ve had at a Sunday pub lunch by a long chalk!

Came to the Red lion from Cambridge in the summer and sat near the river Such a lovely setting Came back to Norwich and decided to book Sunday lunch Had the pork belly and Roast beef Have to say it’s the best roast we have had 10/10 for everything Gary and Linda Cambridge
