Food was lovely, atmosphere was great , wasn’t too noisy. The service was good but a little slow between servings . It was busy so it’s understandable… Overall it was amazing

Customer service and food excellent. Atmosphere relaxed and informal, staff know their stuff, work very hard to keep everyone happy. Menu choices good, portions just right. Really impressed. Will definitely return.

All the staff are professional, friendly, helpful and service with a smile, nothing is too much trouble. On arrival you are immediately asked if you or your party have allergies. Drinks order taken promptly and left with an extensive menu to make your selection plus a specials board, if you are not ready they give you more time. Knowledgeable about all the dishes but also happy to check with the chef. Food is always hot and tasty, asked if any sauces are required. Check to see if everything is ok once you have had time to enjoy some of the food. Dessert menu offered but no hard sell. You are not rushed so free to relax and enjoy the occasion. Have been going for many years, I am in a large powerchair and they always seat me at an appropriate table enabling me to be comfortable but also room enough for other customers and servers to get passed safely. Would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

This is our favourite pub, we especially love a lazy Sunday after a long walk. Nothing better than a Millbrook Roast and some live music! The team are incredible, food delicious, fantastic drink selection and the perfect ambience! I've always wanted to gatekeep this little gem but it doesn't seem fair 🌟

Visited the Balfour on Sunday with my wife and with my sister. We each opted for a starter, Sunday roast and a pudding and all three courses were absolutely outstanding. Never been here before but absolutely will come back again. Best roast I have had for years. Decent price, and really good, friendly atmosphere.
