Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. I was torn between visiting Joia and 2 other restaurants, and I'm glad I picked Joia (again)! I had my mother over during the festivities and wanted to treat her to a nice meal and experience. And Joia didn't disappoint! Actually, it went beyond my, our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, the warm welcome, and the prompt (but not too invasive) approach were fantastic! But the winners were our server Natasha (with her attentive service) and the receptionist Sifo (I hope I spelled his name correctly) with his charm and knowledge of the power station history. He even took us for a quick tour of the upstairs pool and rooftop bar despite the snow and freezing conditions. I couldn't have asked for more, and I'll certainly recommend it to others and def come back again! Thank you Joia!! It was a truly joy-FULL experience!

Delicious lunch at Bar Douro. As always, it never disappoints. One of our favourite places in London, excellent service, couldn't recommend it more.
