At the helm of the pizza oven is Garri Banar, a seasoned pizzaiolo and artisan baker whose deep understanding of fermentation and flour science defines Gesto’s menu. Nicolas Kurban ( Owner of Amar Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar in Dowtown Delray ) an accomplished restaurateur and hospitality veteran, brings his global culinary experience and deep-rooted passion for exceptional dining to Gesto. Having held executive roles at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Four Seasons Hotels Asia Pacific, and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Kurban has an innate ability to create elevated and inviting restaurants.While Gesto is beer and wine only, the program features a heavily Italian wine list that highlights regional expressions perfect for pairing with the pizzas.
