At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. Das Ideale und sein hoch angesehener Chefkoch Maurizio Bruschi sorgen in North Beach seit über 20 Jahren für einen Hauch von Rom. Maurizio stammt aus vier Generationen römischer Chefköche und wurde liebevoll von seiner Großmutter, la Nonna Serafina, unterrichtet. Alle Pastas und Brote sind hausgemacht, und die Zutaten werden täglich sorgfältig ausgewählt. I lived in Italy for a year and three.one four’s pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The salad was amazing as well. Full bar/craft cocktails, great wine selection, and an incredible dessert menu. We’re already looking forward to returning to try some of their pastas and salads. We forgot that we were there during happy hour and were surprised at how reasonable our check was for such a memorable dining experience.

A beautiful neighborhood restaurant. Crowded holiday evening but the staff is warm and friendly and we were treated like family. My go to restaurant for delicious food in a sweet and comfortable environment.

We had a choice to sit outside or inside - I think either would have been lovely but we chose outside and sat around the fire table - between the fire table, heat lamp and cozy blankets, the temperature was perfect even on a somewhat chilly night and you could not beat the wonderful atmosphere. It was our first time here but will not be the last.
