We are very proud of our historic location, hence naming the restaurant after the year the world-famous Brooklands racetrack was built and opened. Another outstanding tasting menu at lunch time. My table of three was delighted with every delicious course, served by charming staff in a very light and comfortable restaurant with beautiful decor. It could not be faulted. Very much equivalent to a two star restaurant but bizarrely TFT does not appear on the list at all - seems strange with all the plaudits that this French restaurant receives.

I had lunch here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly but not intrusive service and to our surprised delight my friend was brought a delicious complimentary cake on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it . Will certainly return.

Food was so good and staff were very friendly. It was a bit empty but we went on Christmas Eve lunch so makes sense.
