We absolutely loved it here. The kids were so excited and loved being able to just walk up and help themselves. Such delicious and very fresh food and a great atmosphere to eat in. Amazing value for money on a Monday with the kids eating free. Thanks to all the staff who made this such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Food was incredible, and every server we spoke to was lovely. Only real downside was the cocktails. We ordered the barrel aged Negroni and a bourbon based stir down. Both drinks were seriously over diluted and unimpressive. For $28 for a Negroni you'd probably also expect block ice like they serve upstairs. It didn't ruin our experience in any sense but was hoping for more based on the rest of what we'd been served.

I am a regular visitor to the Gold Coast and frequent the best restaurants. Trust me LARS is one of the best. Definitely will be back. Peter F

The food, service and ambience were wonderful. A beautiful Modern Australian menu. We enjoyed every minute and mouthful!

We arrived expecting a buffet, and were politely told by the host it was switched to al a carte. We thought we’d be disappointed but the food and service were so great! The steak was delicious and cooked sooo well, the service was lovely. We attended on Dec 16, 2024 in case you want to give the chef and host some major props!!
