Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). We were in from out of town, just were looking for a place close to the metro that had reservations available. Stumbled upon Mazaro and were not disappointed at all! Amazing service and outstanding food! Was one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. Also was a really neat area of town! Would absolutely come back next time I’m back in the d.c. area

Great food, too many people, very loud and had a hard time hearing friends. I’ve been here many times, never had a issue, but maybe due to all the holiday revealers.
