Established in 2016, the newest addition to the Zushi restaurant empire is in Sydney’s impressive new harbour foreshore playground. Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. Overall - it was alright. sashimi was fresh and the sushi was somewhat authentic. However, it is deafening inside and waiters have a hard time paying attention to you. And for the price I paid, I think I can find a restaurant that is more authentic and of better quality. The sushi rice was clearly machine-made and it just didn't have the extra mile I expect from mid to high price range restaurants.
