Zitz Sum is a 30 seat seasonal restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. Our story, is a story of resilience, passion & commitment, that is translated in a plate of food, excellent service and unapologetic gracious hospitality. Our current menu is an autobiographical journey reflecting Chef’s experiences and our affinity for Japanese ingredients and technique. We currently offer A la carte menu that changes with the seasons, and a Seven Course Tasting Menu that changes weekly. Our tasting menu consists of playful snacks and bites to get the night going, and an array of our signature and favorite current dishes. Part of the tasting menu is presented in a family style format conducive for sharing and celebrating. You can’t go wrong with Benihana, Service was great they made sure to sit us together since we were 12 people they made sure to get us 2 tables together. Luis our chef was great as well. Overall for a big group celebrating a Birthday this is the spot. Btw Try the Whale Sake you’ll thank me later

Incredibly unique dining experience. No signs. Have to go thru the bank see the dude sitting on a chair and go to the right. Two options ala carte or the tasting menu. The staff is knowledgeable and will guide you thru the menu. Bring money it’s not cheap but worth every penny.

Isa was attentive, helpful and provided great service for our first time here at Tanuki! Coming from someone who has worked in this industry the Mongolian beef was the beat thing I have ever eaten! Ambience - Food and service- excellence. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful outdoor dining experience here with an attentive server and excellent food. The only negative on the food was that the Greek salad was advertised as having olives and it had none because the restaurant was out of olives. We could’ve been told that at the time we placed our order. The portion size was Substantial. With the temperature in the upper 70s, it was a perfect evening to dine outdoors.
