We were pleasantly surprised. Outside very plain, but once inside its lovely and clean with a retro style. The wait staff was really great and the chef came out and had a brief chat and that was cool. The food was flavoursome, nicely presented Ames the hot food was served'hot' ! I had the Scallop and Lobster Risotto, and I can honestly say, it's the best perfectly cooked risotto I've eaten in a very long time, and there were plump scallops and slices of lobster. My Partner and Mum both had Gnocchi and they agreed it was hot, light, fluffy and flavoursome. Well done guys. We'll be back when in Victoria again.

We had a lovely lunch celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday. Gorgeous weather and an attentive waiter made for a very relaxing 4 hour lunch…. Food was plentiful (in fact too much) and nice coffee served under the huge trees overlooking the expansive lawns. A lovely serene place to sit quietly and nice and local

The service was good and the staff was friendly. The food was really nice and the coffee was good as well. Highly recommended, and only a quick stroll to the botanical gardens.
