The food was exceptional… everything that you would expect from a great Italian authentic restaurant …

Went out Valentines day. They were SO BUSY, yet the food arrived within a decent time, and the service was attentive. We don't eat out at semi-expensive places often, and this was a reminder that the food is SO MUCH BETTER. Wife tried something she never had before and was gushing over it. Ambience was great, lots of greenery, subtle Italian music in the background, and even though it was packed, we could talk in normal voices. Highly recommended. The whole meal (plus rose, as I am a softy) came in at $250 which included a couple of drinks each. Absolutely worth every cent, which comes from someone who isn't exactly flush with cash.

Vapino Garden City was a great dining experience. The pasta was very fresh and the sauce was delicious. The serving size is a good amount and doesn't leave you bloated or overfull. We last went on Valentines Day and could not fault the service. The staff were attentive, quick and checked that everything was ok with the meal. After our meal we were also provided with complimentary penacotta dessert which was a nice touch from Vapino staff and will definitely return. While this is not a fault, just some constructive feedback. We ordered the trio of dips as an entree and while it was delicious, it would be nice if it came with more bread for the dips. You only get 4 or 5 slices when sharing this makes it difficult to try all of the dips, even if there was an option to pay for more bread.

While normally this venue is for those seeing a show at QPAC, this venue is also excellent for any occasion. All of the dishes we ordered were at the perfect portion for sharing, well seasoned, and fresh. The servers were also happy to accomodate us as we were the last ones out for the evening. We will happily visit again

This was our third visit to Sasso & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Was quite busy for a Monday night but we were served in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble. We have the Arancini balls - lovely & CRISP!! Followed by Rigatoni Amatriciana & Spaghetti Allo Scoglio followed by Tiramisu to share. Wines also lovely. We went for the Italian prossecco followed by a lovely Chianti. Will be back 🫶
