Das The Drapers Arms ist ein schöner Pub aus den 1830-er Jahren, der in einem Wohngebiet von Islington liegt. Es hat sehr viel von einem Pub. Die Mitarbeiter sind genauso gastfreundlich zu einer einzelnen Person, die mit einem Bier bei einer Zeitung sitzt, wie zu einer Gruppe, die eine besondere Mahlzeit bestellt. Sie speisen in einer ungezwungenen und entspannten Atmosphäre. Dennoch nimmt man die Sache ernst und serviert Ihnen gute Speisen und Getränke bei ebenso gutem Service. Gut ausgewählte und sorgfältig gezapfte Biere (Harveys Sussex und zwei weitere im Wechsel) sowie Weine (es sind 18 offene Weine erhältlich) ergänzen eine Reihe von authentischen Lagerbieren, Spirituosen und alkoholfreien Getränken. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und die Speisekarte wechselt täglich und je nach Saison. Der Fokus liegt hier darauf, angenehm, ehrlich und saisonal aber dennoch preisgünstig zu sein - das Team des Restaurants ist erfreut, bereits in seinem ersten Jahr vom Michelin die Auszeichnung Bib Gourmand für "Gutes Essen zu erschwinglichen Preisen" erhalten zu haben. Der Speiseraum im Obergeschoss kann für Hochzeiten, Taufen und Parties genutzt werden und gehört zu den besten privaten Räumlichkeiten, die man in London mieten kann.

We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. Our menu is a mix of classic crowd pleasers and regularly changing seasonal dishes, which means you'll always find something to tempt your taste buds (even if you're in every day!).We are a pub, not a cocktail bar and while we make a blinding Bloody Mary, and will happily mix you an Aperol Spritz or Negroni, we don't do Pina Coladas.
