Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. I’m becoming a regular now. The menus is good if a little pricey and the range of wines and cocktails is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Njomza who served us on Friday.
