Had a lovely lunch at the Centurion. Great food, tentative staff and lovely views with the sun shining.

As always, the meal was excellent. It was an 'old' school friends reunion, the extensive menu catered for all of our tastes. The service again as always leaves other eateries in the shade, friendly, unobtrusive, but on hand if we needed anything. Thank you to Gareth, Kate, and the team we all enjoyed our lunch. Incredible high quality food and a very relaxed dining experience (we sat in the winter garden heated seats and didn’t get cold). Staff were great, attentive but not crowding. Would highly recommend. I had the confit duck and potatoes.

My No.1 restaurant to go to in St Albans! The variety & quality of food is great and the staff are very attentive. The restaurant itself is very spacious and cosy. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a good meal in St Albans!
