Seit 1975 bildet das Restaurant El Compadre in Hollywood einen der Top-Anlaufpunkte in Südkalifornien für mexikanische Küche und Getränke. Das Restaurant bietet Aussehen und Atmosphäre einer „Hacienda der alten Welt“. Dazu gehören Tondachziegel, schmiedeeiserne Lampen und Buntglas-Kronleuchter. Seine Wände zieren traditionelle mexikanische Gemälde, Werkzeuge, Antiquitäten und Vasen mit Schnittblumen. Wir sind auf die „gehobenen Speisen Mexikos“ spezialisiert. Wir kochen nach Familienrezepten, die seit Generationen überliefert werden. Dabei verwenden wir ausgewählte Fleisch-Zuschnitte und ausgewählte Meeresfrüchte mit frischem Gemüse der Saison. Im Barbereich mit Schanklizenz servieren wir gemixte Cocktails, importiertes und heimisches Bier sowie unseren legendären und berühmten „Flaming Margarita“. Unsere abendliche Live-Musik von einem Trio, das mexikanische Klassiker singt, und die dezente Beleuchtung sorgen für ein unerreichtes, romantisches Ambiente.

This place was great! The food is amazing! I had a flaming margarita and enchiladas with mole! The staff is great! I would come back here in a heartbeat, if I lived here!

Nice atmosphere. I was able to select my table. Drinks were well made. Server was very attentive but Not over baring. The food was Delicious. I had short ribs and daughter had salmon and we both enjoyed them immensely!! Price was high for the portion size and we cleaned our plates. Needless to say, I would return, price and all. We both enjoyed this experience and later in the evening there was a live band.
