- CCarolAsheville / W. North Carolina •3 Bewertungen5.0Besucht am 29. Nov. 2024Part of the Broadmoor, you can count on rather pricey food so that is a given. But the food was REALLY good. We ate lunch here on a cold day in November. I recommend the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp small plate which I had as my entree, my husbands Vidalia onion rings were outstanding and there was more than enough for the 3 of us. My son loved his boar nachos. Great service, lovely location.Mehr erfahrenRestaurant 1858Preis: Sehr Niedrig• Amerikanisch• Colorado Springs•4,4
- PPriscillaDenver / Colorado •13 Bewertungen5.0Besucht am 28. Nov. 2024We went on Thanksgiving Day for breakfast. They were serving from the full menu for breakfast, so we were able to have a good selection of choices. Our sever was friendly, checked on us often, provided frequent coffee refills, and brought things requested. My main disappointment with the food is that table syrup (high fructose corn syrup) is served instead of real maple syrup. I think for the price of the meals, they could provide the better tasting and healthier option of real maple syrup. Otherwise, we all left quite stuffed and even had some leftovers. We went at 8am and there were only a few other guests in the place since most people probably slept in for the holiday or were at home cooking, so it was a pretty quiet ambiance. Since it was quiet, I did overhear an employee who was working at the coffee counter talking about pay, which I thought was inappropriate conversation for the dining room. I support the right of workers to talk to each other about this topic while at work, it just wasn't appropriate for the specific location in the workplace. All in all, it was a good experience for a holiday spending splurge. I used to go to Mimi's locations more often when I was in Denver years ago (all closed now), but unfortunately, my paycheck hasn't kept up with the menu price increases. I miss being able to go more often because I've always enjoyed Mimi's Cafe for food and ambiance.Mehr erfahrenMimi's Cafe - Colorado SpringsPreis: Moderat• Amerikanisch• Colorado Springs•3,9
