The food and atmosphere were outstanding as usual. One star deducted only because the scallops starter is the most expensive on the menu and as delicious as it was, seems to only be one scallop cut into slices - a little more would have been nice! One star deducted for value only because it’ll leave a slight dent in your wallet (although they did check if the optional service charge was okay, which many restaurants don’t!).

Absolutely loved it, wonderful food so flavoursome with prompt and attentive service. I had the mushroom croqutes and belly of pork totally recommend it my wife loved her meal too. We shared the creme brule for desert. We also had a great table overlooking the river, cant fault this place at all. We cant wait to book again.

Date Night with my husband! We had the Fat Tuesday deal with drinks, 3 delicious small plates and chips for £30…fantastic value for money! We had a lovely evening with great food and service! 😊

THE FOOD AND SERVICE AT THE LAMB IS OUTSTANDING, SOME OF THE CUSTOMER WITH CHILDREN WHO ALLOW THE CHILDREN TO RUN AROUND THE BAR NOT SO MUCH.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
