Really enjoyable Sunday Lunch. The food was very nicely prepared, full of flavour with beautifully cooked beef and vegetables. Service was attentive and polite. Looking forward to another visit.

The staff were fantastic as always and wonderful with my elderly mother whose birthday we were celebrating. Food outstanding!

Everything about this restaurant is exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, from the second we arrived at the door until the second we left. We ordered the tasting menu and each dish was explained on delivery to the table. The food was unmistakably fresh, and perfectly cooked and presented. We each ordered a scallop as an extra and it was probably the best I have ever tasted. The ambience was very relaxed and added to a wonderful evening. This restaurant has got it just right. It is not inexpensive, but we both left having had a very positive and enjoyable evening with exceptional food and staff. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to all at Higher Ground.

Centrally located in Chester with multi story parking locally. Very smartly presented resaurant. Attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere. All the courses were very well presented. The Lunch menu was resonably priced . Not the cheapest restaurant to dine at but well worth a visit if you like fine dining.

Great meal and excellent service. Nancy the waitress was superb. Love the ambience. Right level of music and general noise level was quiet and lovely atmosphere.
