Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. The menu will offer daily, hyper-seasonal specials, and plenty of British game, meat and fish. Executive chef and owner, Jamie Dobbin is passionate about local sourcing and traditional dishes, such as Half dozen Porthilly rock oysters with shallot dressing, Brixham King scallops with burnt butter cauliflower and caviar or Portland hogget Shepherd’s pie with grilled cutlet. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. There is a handsome bar menu too, and as always, Sunday roasts are a big fixture on the menu every week.

Welcome to The Bull Inn, a traditional, long-standing public house on the road between Wokingham and Arborfield.The pub dates back to at least 1728, before which it was a brew-house for Sparks Farm.It has been a Grade II listed building for more than 40 years. Such a delightful afternoon spent at Frimley Hall for their festive afternoon tea. Service was very quick and friendly, we were kindly offered a top up of the sandwiches which were absolutely amazing, clotted cream & Jam and fresh tea. No request was too big. I’d definitely put this on my go to list now. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our experience here. The price is amazing too, such great value for what is on offer!

Really nice people that operate this establishment. Great food and service. We've been here 3 times in 3 months. There's a good reason! Will be there again soon.

A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other people
