It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. We have been to The Poet a few times now and on every occasion we have enjoyed it immensely. Tom and the team take great care to ensure that all our food requirements are met and they go above and beyond with attention to detail. The atmosphere is always convivial and the food is outstanding. There's a very nice wine list too.

Second time lunching here in a month. Smashing menu, Christmas decor, friendly and attentive staff made lunch today an enjoyable occasion. The prawn cocktail was delicious. A return visit is planned.

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
