Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Lunch and dinner entrees include rib-eye steak, Atlantic salmon, fish n’ chips, shrimp spaghetti and spaghetti carbonara. Our server was great and we love the brunch buffet here on the weekend! It’s very good with lots of options. The price is a little high but fair if you plan to indulge.

The tea itself and service were excellent. The savoury components were well balanced and delicious. The sweet components were hit or miss. Some were overwhelmingly sweet. The clotted cream was closer to a chantilly or whipped cream than a true clotted cream. However the scones and the jam were delicious. The ambience was also a bit mundane. Overall, the experience satisfied a craving, but did not match the expectations based on price.
