Die besten Bistros in West Roxbury

It was a Saturday night and Eastern Standard was the place to be! Excellent food (carrot ginger soup is a must and swordfish with coconut rice special should be a regular on the menu!) and attentive service (we had a few requests as it was a business dinner) made for a great experience. Love the cocktail menu, variety on the dinner menu and fun, festive atmosphere. Oh, and easy parking. Will definitely be back.

I have not been to Petit Robert for a couple of years and the food and service remain the same at high quality. My friend and I had a wonderful lunch. The only minor criticism was that one of the waitresses was loud. I could hear her from 3 tables away. Given the cozy dining room it could seem a little jarring. Her service was good. It is just the awareness of noise level she needs to become more aware of. My Fromage salad was light and tasty as I expected. Since it was not crowded, they made sure to place us a couple of tables away from other patrons. Very thoughtful. I will go back again in 2025!

We enjoy dining at Aquitaine. Our favorite dishes are the Sole and Duck breast as well as their swordfish special. The cocktails are excellent! We want to especially make note of the servers, they are so gracious and helpful~ The hosts at the desk are so welcoming and friendly! Great place to meet friends or celebrate a special occasion~ Highly recommended ~

The Black Cat at Vee Vee is incredible, delicious and memorable. I keep thinking about the DjonDjon fried rice and butterscotch pudding. The kids adored the fish tacos and chili shrimp tostada. Basically EVERYTHING is delish! The team is awesome and we can’t wait to go back!

A superb experience all around. I will be returning. Soon. And often. Thank you all for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
