The preparations for all the meat and sauce available at Hwaro are handled by Kim alone. This includes supervision of the slicing of the Karubi (boneless short ribs), and preparation of the 23 different ingredients* needed for the hot pepper Sangyu Pusaru seasoning. If you're even in Melbourne for a holiday or a local, you're life won't feel as fulfilling until you've experienced Meatmaiden, I can't make this up! The food was impeccable, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is second to none. If I could afford it, I would go every night.

I took my family here to eat when they came to visit me. My family loved it—they ordered and ate a lot that night! The fois gras rice was on point, and we ordered the three wagyu courses and their tomahawk (there were five of us that night but two very hungry men). My parents definitely loved the variety, and I was very pleased to have brought them there to eat and try it for the first time.
