Arrived a bit early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. The ambiance was nice; dim without being overly dark and the noise was moderate despite a fully packed bar area and dining room. Food was superb…we ordered the coconut shrimp (not my favorite, but my husband loved it), spicy tuna roll (excellent), the ribeye and the roasted chicken were equally delicious. I think my favorite aspect of our visit was the service. Friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, especially considering it was a busy holiday weekend. Can’t wait to return!Mehr erfahrenBalboa Surf ClubPreis: Hoch• Amerikanisch• Galleria / Uptown•4,8

Octopus and Tuscan Kale also delicious. Service was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. One of the best seafood places from the standpoint of both food and ambience in a loaded category in our city.Mehr erfahrenClark's Oyster Bar - HoustonPreis: Hoch• Aus Dem Meer• Montrose•4,8

Flounder was flaky and delicious. The cornbread had a delicious sweetness and it was a bit crunchy. The Louisiana crawfish etoufee was a true disappointment as it had battered shrimp and little crawfish all in a noodle sauce instead of rice! This is why the 4 stars. The bread pudding did not disappoint. The prices are higher than some of the competition. My husband (etoufee) will not return! I will give it another try for lunch because my dish was superb as was my son’s flounder.Mehr erfahrenEunicePreis: Moderat• Kreolisch / Cajun / Süden der USA• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4,7

That was a nice touch to start our evening! We were not rushed, which I appreciated. The only negative was!You have to order everything at once but our waiter Charles was wonderful and worked with us. It’s definitely a fun people watching place. The food and cocktails were fabulous. I had an old fashion cocktail. It was very good. We had lobster escargot! Yum!! Spicy cauliflower was a hit! Steak tar tar and an artichoke appetizer. Also we had a spicy Caesar salad, which I would have again if you go don’t miss out on the lobster escargot or the cauliflower. I would go again.Mehr erfahrenDrake's Hollywood - HoustonPreis: Sehr Niedrig• Amerikanisch• Montrose•4,5

The lovely young lady who greeted me set the tone for a wonderful experience, and our service continued with Anais's super friendly smile and refreshing personality only added to the warmth of the welcome. Anais is a gem! She made sure to check on us without being overly eccentric. Such a pleasant surprise! Misty, another team member, stopped by to recommend the Cajun Blackened Chicken, one of her favorite dishes. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and I appreciated the personal touch. Anais officially introduced herself and suggested the Roasted Corn Guacamole, which was not only delicious but also came with a fascinating backstory that she shared with us. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Every single person I interacted with was extremely pleasant, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. A special thank you to the kind manager who took the time to say hello. Sending warm wishes for a pleasant birthday to her! Here's to many more wonderful experiences at this outstanding establishment!Mehr erfahrenJOEY UptownPreis: Moderat• Amerikanisch• West Side•4,7
