We really enjoyed our first time at Scampi. We know they are new and working on a big transition from 6 diners to ~24. All of the food was excellent (minus one under-seasoned addition that wasn't on the menu), and the storytelling was a wonderful and lively addition to each course. However, the service was very slow. Their single server had to leave within minutes of the seating to go to the store to get something for the kitchen, and we were left without the ability to even ask for an ice bucket for our bottle of white wine. We proceeded to get very tipsy trying to drink it before it got warm, because the first course from the menu was not delivered until 40 minutes after we had been seated. From there the food was coursed pretty well, but again the one server was so busy cleaning up plates all the time that they never asked us if needed anything, how we were finding the food, etc. I hope that with time and more revenue they have the chance to smooth out the service, because when they do this place is gonna be rockin!!

David Falcone is such a fantastic performer and really made mine and my date’s night. we stayed his whole performance!! also the pumpkin burrata & acorn squash was DELISH 🫶🏻 <— that’s for you david!!

Magical doesn’t even begin to cover it. Imagine all your expectations of a burger, then multiply them by ten. The genius behind it all is Chef Alex - an original in every sense. Her creativity is matched only by her warmth, making the dining experience feel both elevated and personal. She’s not just redefining what great food is—she’s redefining how it feels to enjoy it. If you haven’t been to the new Roxanne, run, don’t walk. It’s a culinary triumph that honors its past while paving the way for an even brighter future.

Our server, Elena, was exceptional in her timing and attention, as were other staff members. I think the pricing is rather steep. The noise level was quite acceptable as the restaurant was at capacity and we marveled how the cook staff quietly went about their business with an occasional laugh at one another.
