The homemade ice cream was severely freezer burnt, but other than that it was amazing! The cactus and prickly pear dish were great and really filling despite small portions. I would happily dine again.

We had the Thanksgiving Buffet at the Core. We thought that 155$ a person was way too much to charge for what we received. The food could have been warmer. The service was poor. Our server was not attentive and we had to ask other servers for things we needed. Much to our surprise, we had to pay for parking.

It took one hour to get our food. I saw other customers waiting a similar time for their food as well. Our waiter never apologized or offered us any amenities to compensate for the wait. We didn’t have our bread basket, or even waters, refilled. The risotto was way over cooked and over priced. The roasted chicken was good though! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

The ambiance was very nice and the noise level was decent. Our waiter was very pleasant and we enjoyed his service. However, he seemed to have a lot of tables. This would have been fine if the rest of the staff stepped up and paid attention to the small details such as providing plates for the appetizer, new silverware for dinner, clearing dirty dishes, etc. The appetizer was delicious (Avocado Cactus), I would come back just for that. The bread served in the beginning was very hard. We ordered and split the Wagyu with mushrooms. It was just okay. The steak was overly salty and very fatty. I would say about 1/4 of the steak was pure fat and the mushrooms didn’t have much of a flavor. Overall, I think it was subpar and not sure if I would revisit.

Entrees are large enough to split. We had dinners Tuesday-Friday and everything was perfect each night.

Food was excellent and extremely well presented. Very attentive service. Serving apparatuses were creative and fun. While not actually stated on the menu, sides were proportioned so as to be shared. Dessert - gelatos - was almost overwhelming large - definitely meant to be shared. On-the-house palette cleanser was nicely done and with a creative dish. Seemed a bit strange that there were no actual salads available on the menu, although a couple of the appetizers likely could have been called such. Overall a really nice experience for a special occasion.

Our whole evening was wonderful. The staff was outstanding and the food was beyond good. My husband had the steak and I had the scallops. ALL the food was excellent but I have to say that the scallops were the best I've ever had!

The service from the host, the waiter and the sommelier was excellent. The presentation of the food was lovely and the flavors were delicious. This is exactly what you expect from a high end restaurant at the Ritz Carlton. They are going to be renovating the restaurant and changing to an upscale Bourbon steakhouse starting next year late spring. That should be wonderful.
