Im Bohanan´s genießen Sie erstklassiges, zartes Rindfleisch, das auf dem Grill über Mesquite-Holz zubereitet wird. Freuen Sie sich auf außerordentliches köstliches Akaushi Rindfleisch, vom Küchenchef und Inhaber zubereitete große Portionen vom erstklassigen reifen Rindfleisch, das ausschließlich mit Mais gefüttert wurde sowie täglich frische Meeresfrüchte und am Tisch flambierte Nachtspeisen. Probieren Sie zuerst einen klassischen Cocktail in der Bar des Bohanan´s in der 1. Etage und daraufhin das erstklassige Steak in der oberen Etage. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude in der Innenstadt von San Antonio nur einen Block vom River Walk. Das Restaurant ist mit dem AAA Four Diamond Rating und vom Wine Spectactor mit dem Best of Award of Excellence ausgezeichnet.

    It’s a beautiful, lively, restaurant, but I must say the food was nowhere near worth the price. For a restaurant that has “award winning steak and seafood” it just missed the mark completely. I ordered a 12oz Ribeye, medium, and my girlfriend ordered the 12oz New York strip, medium as well, and both came out cooked perfectly. However, once you get down to eating said steak, you immediately realize why the restaurant promotes all of the “additions ” you can get on top/with your steak. It was the most “meat” tasting steak, that was both bland and chewy. Almost like something you can cook at home on your black and decker grill. The sides were good and the bread was alright. Service was excellent, atmosphere was beautiful, but the food was just mid. If your a tourist or maybe someone who just wants to eat at a “fancy” restaurant, then this place is for you. If you’re someone looking for a great meal that is worth paying for, then this is not it.
