Im Bohanan´s genießen Sie erstklassiges, zartes Rindfleisch, das auf dem Grill über Mesquite-Holz zubereitet wird. Freuen Sie sich auf außerordentliches köstliches Akaushi Rindfleisch, vom Küchenchef und Inhaber zubereitete große Portionen vom erstklassigen reifen Rindfleisch, das ausschließlich mit Mais gefüttert wurde sowie täglich frische Meeresfrüchte und am Tisch flambierte Nachtspeisen. Probieren Sie zuerst einen klassischen Cocktail in der Bar des Bohanan´s in der 1. Etage und daraufhin das erstklassige Steak in der oberen Etage. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude in der Innenstadt von San Antonio nur einen Block vom River Walk.     Service was very slow. I had to complain. Check was almost 2K and the steak tasted like nothing no flavor. Will not be back!!!

    Server was friendly, atmosphere is refreshingly down-to-earth but refined. Food was nothing short of excellent. The best tortilla soup I’ve ever had. Steaks were a little rarer than expected but perfect temperature to showcase the excellent beef that requires next to no improvement. Crab handled well, broccoli side was boring, Au gratin potatoes plated in a cute cast iron to keep them warm. Definitely a must-recommend on food alone.

    Our dining experience at this restaurant was exceptional, marked by both outstanding service and exquisite food. The ambiance was particularly charming, with a distinct old-world feel that enhanced the overall experience. From the textured tablecloths and candle lamps to the fine china, every detail contributed to the atmosphere. However, there was one aspect that impacted our experience: the acoustics. The layout of the dining area includes several smaller rooms, and the acoustics in our room were less than ideal. Despite being seated at a small table for two, the space also accommodated larger parties, which created an unexpectedly loud environment. This made it difficult to have a conversation, even with a table only a couple of feet away. On several occasions, our waiter had to speak directly into our ears to be heard. While we understand that larger groups have different dynamics and purposes for dining, placing a small party of two in a room with much larger parties seemed counterproductive to the intimate dining experience we were hoping for. We noted that the downstairs bar area even had a much quieter atmosphere. Ultimately, though our bill was relatively modest compared to that of the larger parties, it’s clear that this restaurant’s priorities may be oriented toward those bigger groups. We do appreciate the overall experience but hope that the restaurant might consider acoustical adjustments in the future for the comfort of all guests.

    Very very good. I eat at a lot of steakhouses butt this is one of the best in the country. The food is really good, but the service is exceptional. Not just the wait staff but everybody on the floor is helpful polite and kind

    Truly EXTRAORDINARY food!!! Best lump crab meat I have ever eaten. Steak superb. Magical service. The only glitch was No bernaise available due to the kitchen not having any terrapin!!??!!??
