The Black Angus restaurant in Vancouver is a throwback to what restaurants were 20 years ago. Top notch service, friendly staff, and a personal greeting from Robert the night manager. The food was superb and the choices vast and creative. We love the intimacy of the tall booths. Most modern restaurants have way too much lighting and are way too noisy. This place has high back booths that help create a private atmosphere and a quiet intimacy. Don't change a thing. This 'ol restaurant is a 10!

Our server Kelly was beyond exceptional. Very personable right off the bat. My husband’s roasted green beans were not good. They tasted old. Kelly was quick to remedy it and brought him a different side. The filet minion was wonderful, each cooked to perfection. The fudge cake with vanilla ice cream was a great ending to a great meal. We will definitely visit again and ask for Kelly as our server.

Had to set in the bar area , did not want too, it was loud and my steak was tough and full of grizzle and the prices seemed high

Excellent service. Food tasted good, smaller portions this time, but we still like the trio presentation.

This was a fun nostalgic trip. The decor is a bit dated, but clean and nice. Big, tall walled booths and wood inside. Customer service at the host and table were excellent. Food was great and cooked to order.. It was an older crowd and a great throw back to previous dining experiences at a Black Angus. I felt young here for a mid life birthday dinner.

Okay, crab cake was good but a bit salty, beer steak soup was tasty but only luke warm. Au'-gratin-potatoes were way to hot and the new york strip steak was very tough to slice through with a knife and it was chewy. I did not enjoy the meal i went in expecting a great dining experience I left disappointed I would not recommend the Black Angus. The waitress asked how everything was I told her honestly my impressions she apologize and offered me a discount on the meal and a big chocolate chip cookie to take home, I still left a tip for her because her service was good and she was not at fault.

Everyone we saw throughout the evening had a smile and a hello. We had a great Campfire Feast dinner, eating more than we should, but everything we picked was prepared and/or cooked perfectly and delivered promptly. The restaurant was busy, but that did not harm service. We will be happy to return for another great meal soon.
