    Ok steaks, great service. The meal as a whole was good. The prime rib wasn't as tender and flavorful as other steakhouses but still ok. The zucchini, & creme Brule were awesome.

    Had a reservation wait time went way over 40 minutes the General Manager running the host stand was very overwhelmed and rude bcz guests were getting impatient she was snapping at customers and talking under her breath. The server was not attentive or accommodating almost felt like she was insulted to get a refill HOWEVER, Our Food was great. This is an annual reservation my husband and I do and I think this will be our last. A lot of money being spent at your resturant and mistreating guests on Valentines was a complete turn off. Honestly !! DO BETTER!!!

    Even though they were packed, for Valentines, the service was wonderful. Food was delicious

    The Black Angus is a refreshing exceptional dining experience in Albuquerque. The rustic barn-like interior with the great Cowboy photos, the beautiful high banco booths that create a private space to enjoy the luxurious meal and the outstanding service puts this restaurant at the top of my list of favorites.

    Got there a bit early. They seated us just a few minutes after the reservation time. The only "issue" was that when the server brought out our food, mine had french fries instead of the grilled asparagus I'd ordered. She took it back, the server who took our order came by to check and went to go check as the first server was coming back with my plate with the correct side (grilled asparagus). My steak and lobster tails were cooked perfectly, the calamari (appetizer) was cooked well--overdone calamari is VERY chewy and rubbery; this was nicely cooked. My husband enjoyed his ribs. The server was attentive without being obnoxiously so.
