    Absolutely horrible. Reservations were at 5:45pm didn’t get seated till 6:45pm and didn’t leave the restaurant until 9pm. Our cook did not even start to cook until 8pm and we felt so rushed. I will be calling corporate tomorrow.

    We arrived at 6:00 p.m. we had reservations for 6:30 p.m.. We were not seated until 7:30 p.m. The restaurant clearly overbooked. It was bad management of front End of House.

    BEWARE!! Do not think that because you have a reservation it means anything. This place has adopted the idea they will allow endless reservations, with no regard to what they can actually deliver. We had a reservation at 6:15 and were not seated until 7:15. We got on Open Table and they were still offering reservations at 6:30, 6:45, 7:00….even though they were overwhelmed and running over an hour behind. Once seated, the waitress told us to order the food with the drinks right away as it was”would take a long time to actually get a chef”. We didn’t leave until 9:30 due to all the delays. This is apparently not a one-off and instead how they’ve decided to operate. Super disappointing.

    I recently visited Benihana’s, and the service was abysmal. The wait was unbearably long, after making reservations, me and my wife waited about 45 minutes until we were sat. Then another 30 minutes until they came and took our order the staff seemed disinterested, and the chef lacked the usual flair that made the experience special. Orders were incorrect, drinks took forever, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a fast-food joint than a premium teppanyaki restaurant. The once-exciting hibachi theatrics were reduced to half-hearted performances. If Rocky Aoki could see what his beloved restaurant has become in 2025, he’d turn over in his grave. Benihana was built on showmanship and quality, but sadly, both seem to have taken a backseat to mediocrity.

    This location has gone downhill. The service is slow and terrible. The floors and bathroom are filthy. Food is still good once it comes out though.

    This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever been though. The hostess and chef were amazing. Other than that wow what a terrible experience. We had reservations at 7:45. We were told that they were an hour behind ! We couldn’t believe it….we ended up waiting because it was our only date night without our kids…after one hour I approached the front desk to get an update,,,, the lady quoted me another hour! We were there for 4 hours! Unbelievably disappointed and embarrassed for the staff.

    I’m never ever leave a review that is negative but I am floored by how disastrous this evening was. It was my daughter’s birthday. We had a reservation but upon arrival we were told it was an hour wait. We traveled so far so we decided to wait in the car. Forget about the million mishaps in between we were finally seated 1.5 hours later. We than sat through another 1.5 hours at our table to finally be fed. Chef was miserable - obviously worn out - the food, lobster shrimp and filer mignon was burnt to a crisp - and a whallop of butter was thrown on it. I took a photo for us to laugh at later. Every one of us at the table was falling asleep and so upset about our ruined meal. The worst of it was I reached out to a manager early on when we did not get our food within the first hour… no one came to our table to entertain us… tell us “ so sorry but we are having a really hard night… deserts on us or what should have been said was our meals were free. Such a disgrace. Our hard earned money and everything else.. just disgusting service 2 managers we spoke with and none of them offered any compensation or any sorrys. That’s the worst part of it. They could give a crap… just floored at how bad the management is - we will never go back to Benihanas again.

    JUAN IS THE ONLY REASON YOUR ESTABLISHMENT IS DOING WELL. Your chefs are the pillars of this sad excuse for a restaurant. The manager and servers are AWFUL. We will not return solely for this
