   I’m writing this review because I want to acknowledge the young woman at the hostess stand. There must have been a problem with the reservation booking system as they were very overbooked. Every person had to wait at least 35 minutes to be seated. The amount of abuse she got from rude customers was horrible. She handled every complaint with grace. No matter how often they came back, demanded answers. There was even a group of men that were so rude and demanded free food!! Then proceed to sit on their phones while their food was being prepared in front of them. Thank You to our server, the hostess and our chef.

   Benihana was extremely busy tonight. I made a reservation for 6pm and was seated by 6:10pm. The overall dining experience took 2 hours from being seated to paying for our meal. We waited almost 30-40 minutes for the chef to start making the food after receiving our soup/salad. I hadn't been to Benihana in over a year and noticed their prices had increased and the portions seemed a bit smaller than normal.

   Waited an hour and a half before the chef even came to our table. Our reservation was at 615 and we didn’t get the chef to our table until 8

   I made a reservation and got there five minutes before we were to be seated. I checked in and the house said they’re running 40 minutes behind on their reservations confirmed my number and said that we will send you a text in waiting and speaking with other people. They had been waiting there for over an hour and a half when they were told it would be also a 40 minute wait. We ended up leaving and eating at another restaurant and we never received a text.

   Showed up for 7:15 reservation and not seated until 8:30. Waited at table from 8:25 to 10 until a chef came to cook. Chef was tired and the whole experience was ruined. 4 hours to eat a meal. We will never go back

   Waited an hour for the table (with reservations) then another 30-40 minutes for our chef. The food was very salty, mostly seasoned the same. Spent $50 for steak that was so salty I couldn’t taste the meat. Spent $250 for 2 people, wasn’t very happy at all. The dress code definitely wasn’t applicable to everyone. Wasn’t happy with the chef not wearing something over his beard. Bathroom was gross, bar was dirty. Will not be back at all.

   Wared 3 hours before we got our food. The did mot have enough chefs. One of the people we sat with was rude and left without paying or leaving a tip for the server who was great. The chef was funny and entertaining and the manager did comp us on the food.

   WOW… we will never return! 6:45 reservations, not seated until 7:40. Waited FOR-EVER for a cook to finally come to our table. Food was decent. Fried rice was the best part. Service terrible on refilling drinks (because we sat there forever), clearing dishes, etc. We had fun with our table laughing about what a disaster the whole evening was but at the end of the night… it was a 4, yes 4, hour dinner from start to finish. The manager did offer 40% off all of our bills but that was miscalculated. When I questioned that, he got a MAJOR attitude. On a side note… if you look around, this restaurant is filthy. Food on the walls, dirty carpet and nasty bar. It needs deep cleaning!

    Wasn't seated until 45 minutes after our reservation. The waiting area was packed. Once seated, we didn't get a chef until another hour. Spoke to the manager, Micheal, who gave me excuses and promised to do something to compensate. He did nothing. This isn't the high- end Benihana of the past. It's for the masses, and they don't care about service because they have more business than they can accommodate.
